Cape Cod British Car Club 9-29-06 thru 10-01-06
British Legends Weekend, Falmouth, MA

President Paul Hinchcliffe and his crew pulled off another fabulous time
for all who attended this weekends' festivities.

These are the cars only, but there will be many more great pictures that
will follow on the club website at the Cape Cod British Car Club.

Arrival at the Marine Park on Saturday afternoon brought out a great collection
of cars for the back road cruise and trip to Pairpoint Glass, America's Oldest
operating glass factory and then on to the Cape Cod Canal Cruise.

As you can see, there is quite an eclectic group of cars assembled, ready to
rumble down the back roads of Cape Cod.  And, indeed, we did do just that!

Next stop after about 60 miles of road rally style driving, Pairpoint Glass Factory.
This is a site that would give an insurance underwriter a coronary!  All that
irreplaceable British iron, bunched all together and parked so close to the highway.

What a perfect day to drive a car with the top down!  Blue sky, a little cool and
great New England winding roads to test your heel and toe flexibility.

A few more empty pockets after a trip into the glass factory and now we're
off for another fun run on the back roads to Onset and the pier, where
we'll board the ship for a trip up and down the Cape Cod Canal.

The anxious looks here at the pier parking lot is because no one knows
where the pizza delivery guy is.  You'll see later what he delivered to the ship.

Below is the remains of the many, many boxes of pizza Bob Greene ordered.
Once again, Bob, great idea and even better execution.

To see the rest and all of the great people involved, go to the club website.
After Paul has a few days to rest and everyone gets him copies of their pictures,
I'm sure that he have it all in order for a great show of our day at the Cape.

Hope to see everyone at the Martha's Vineyard Trip later in October.
